100 Plus- FAM National Football Awards 2014

The 100 Plus- FAM National Football Awards 2014, was held at PJ Hilton on 13 November 2014 (Thursday)

Malaysia Cup champion Pahang dominated the 2014 100PLUS-Astro Arena-FAM National Football Awards by sweeping five of the 13 awards at stake, here today.



Pahang goalkeeper Mohd Khairul Azhan Mohd Khalid who was in superb form throughout the season was a double winner after being voted Best Goalkeeper and Most Valuable Player.



Pahang head coach Zainal Abidin Hassan clinched the Best Coach award while Pahang skipper Mohd Razman Roslan walked away with the Best Defender award.



The Pahang Football Association (PBNP) meanwhile, clinched the Best Football Association award after winning three titles in 2014 - Charity Shield, FA Cup and Malaysia Cup.



Kelantan skipper Mohd Badri Radzi and Terengganu's Mohd Nor Farhan Mohd were voted Best Midfield Player and Best Striker for the second consecutive year.



Muhammad Farhan Roslan who is also known as 'Messi' Kedah, was voted Most Promising Player.



Police striker Ali Ashfaq who scored 17 goals in the Premier League competition walked away with the Best Foreign Player award.



Super League champion Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) was voted Best Club and Best Fan Club while Terengganu were winners of the Fair Play award.

 

During the annual awards ceremony organised by F&N Beverages (M) Sdn Bhd, the National team that won the bronze medal at the 1974 Asian Games in Tehran, Iran were honoured with the 'Harimau Malaya Legends' award.
