The Malaysia Football League (M-League) Privatisation Workshop

The Malaysia Football League (M-League) is expected to be privatised in 2015, said FA of Malaysia vice-president (FAM) Datuk Affandi Hamzah.

He said first, an independent body would be set up to manage the league.

"We cannot do it it overnight, the foundation has to be laid first. We have to take one step at a time.

"This will be my biggest challenge until 2015. In terms of meetings, the privatisation committee has held a few," he told reporters after attending a workshop on privatising the M-League at Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) here Thursday.

The workshop was chaired by UiTM deputy vice-chancellor (Student Affairs) Prof Datuk Abdullah Mohd Said.
